Pep is a low-cost spay and neuter clinic located in rural Missouri, 90 miles west of St. Louis at the edge of the Ozarks. In November of 2016, we began our 7th year of operations. We serve Pet owners and feral cat caretakers from more than ten surrounding counties.
We provide surgeries and rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs plus parvo/distemper shots for dogs. Our feral cat surgeries are done at no charge, but we ask for a $15.00 donation to cover the cost of the surgery meds and Rabies vaccination. We have traps that can be borrowed to catch ferals.
We support our work with a combination of donations, grants, and fundraisers to supplement the income from pet owners.
Our surgeries are performed an experienced veterinarian who work for us part-time. Diana Krenning, owner of Krenning Veterinary Care in Jefferson City.
We are fortunate to have loyal, dependable employees who are trained vet assistants, prep techs and office staff.
