PEP is a 501c3 non-profit corporation formed to provide affordable spaying and neutering services for companion cats and dogs. We also offer a TNR (trap/neuter/return) program for feral cat populations in our area of rural Missouri.

About

Pep is a low-cost spay and neuter clinic located in rural Missouri, 90 miles west of St. Louis at the edge of the Ozarks.  In November of 2016, we began our 7th year of operations.  We serve Pet owners and feral cat caretakers from more than ten surrounding counties.

We provide surgeries and rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs plus parvo/distemper shots for dogs.  Our feral cat surgeries are done at no charge, but we ask for a $10.00 donation to cover the rabies vaccination.  We have traps that can be borrowed to catch ferals.

We support our work with a combination of donations, grants, and fundraisers to supplement the income from pet owners.

Our surgeries are performed by three experienced veterinarians who work for us part-time.  They are:  Dr. Sheri Moellinger, owner of Compassionate Care Clinic in Hermann, Dr. Connie Medling, owner of Pet Country House Calls Veterinary Services in Sullivan, and Diana Krenning, owner of Krenning Veterinary Care in Jefferson City.

All of our staff, including the Office Manager, Donna Stough, are volunteers.  We are fortunate to have loyal, capable people who act as vet assistants, prep techs, and cleaning staff.

Give us a call or send us an email when you are ready to get your pets spayed or neutered.
